Funded by Energy Foundation (EF) and World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and jointly written by ten research agencies, the project team of ¡°China¡¯s Low Carbon Development Pathways By 2050¡± will launch the report at the Asia Conference Hall of Asia Hotel in Beijing, on September 16^th 2009. We welcome Chinese and international media to attend this conference.

The Report Launch will introduce research findings from the reports of ¡°2050 China Energy and CO₂ Emission Report¡± and ¡°China¡¯s Low Carbon Development Pathways By 2050: Scenario Analysis of Energy Demand and Carbon Emission¡±, a 2.5 year long project from March, 2007 to September, 2009.

More than ten research agencies involving 102 researchers contributed to this study, such as Research Department of Industrial Economy of Development Research Center of the State Council, Energy Research Institute of National Development and Reform Commission, Institute of Energy, Environment and Economics of Tsinghua University, Institute of Policy and Management, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing Sino TC Technology CO.LTD, Chinese Academy for Environmental Planning, Institute of Environmental and Sustainable Development, the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Department of International Trade, Chung Yuan Christian University, Institute of Quantitative and Technical Economics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Unirule Institute of Economics. About 20 experts specializing in industrial economics, energy, environment and climate change fields also contributed to this project.
